If your baby has medical concerns or is in NICU, please ask for specific recommendations from your health care provider. Every new mother is offered a home visit through the Healthy Baby/Healthy Children program and public health nurses will provide assistance with getting breastfeeding off to a good start. The loan of a breast pump may be available for families who meet specific criteria.
