purpose of this report is to inform the public, the health unit's staff, health
providers and other interested agencies about the health of residents living in our

Population Health Approach
This
section provides the reader with an overview of the population health
approach defined by the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIAR)
as... identifying how the social and physical environments in which we
live and work determine our health, and to measure their impact and trace
their complex interactions. This is the framework used to construct this
report.

Sources and Limitations
It is important to know the strengths and limitations of the sources of
data used to develop this report because these factors influenced the
methods, analysis and interpretation of data presented within. In this
section a description of each data source is presented stating its
strengths and limitations. |
