2004 Health Status Report Update

This update supplements the 2000 Health Status Report by providing updated information for many aspects of the health of our region. The primary data sources for the current update are the 2001 Census and the Canadian Community Health Surveys 2000/01 and 2002/03. Among additional sources cited is the Ontario Rapid Risk Factor Surveillance System. This is a new surveillance system in Ontario that provides some data about risk factors and health behaviours in our communities.

Updates may be added to this report as they become available throughout the year.
