Updates information on a limited number of communicable diseases. |
Economic
Environments
This section provides information from the 2001 Census about the economic
circumstances - such as housing affordability and low income families - of the
population of Leeds Grenville and Lanark. Also included is some survey data about
food security in households from the Canadian Community Health Survey 2000/01. |
Injury
and Poisoning
Statistics on deaths and hospitalizations due to poisonings are provided in this
section. Some data on the limitations to normal activities experienced in Leeds
Grenville and Lanark due to injuries is also provided. |
Physical
Environments
This section provides limited updates from surveys related to aspects of the
physical environment subsequent to the Health Status 2000 report. |
Reproductive
Health
Information on live births, low birthweight, abortions, teen pregnancy, infant and
fetal mortality and breastfeeding are provided in this section. |
Social
Environments
This section provides information from the 2001 Census about the social
circumstances and characteristics of individuals in the Leeds Grenville and Lanark
area. Included here is information about family composition and education levels. |
Smoking
The sources of information on smoking behaviour and attitudes are many. This section
provides information on a variety of aspects of tobacco use in Leeds Grenville and
Lanark, including exposure to second hand smoke. |
