When a permanent tooth has been knocked out of your
mouth you should:
  • Find the tooth - Pick it up by the crown (not the root)
  • If dirty rinse in cold milk or saliva DO NOT SCRUB
  • Place tooth back in socket or hold it in your cheek or a cup of cold milk
  • See the dentist right away.
