Try the Pause to Play challenge - turn off your screens (TV, Computer, Video games, Movies) for one week and try replacing this time with physical activity and healthy eating. Canadian Institutes of Health Research

Formerly the Medical Research Council of Canada, the CIHR was renamed and reborn in June 2000. It encompasses 13 individual institutes and is Canada's leading funding agency for health research. Cardiac Care Network of Ontario

An advisory body to the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, the CCN is "dedicated to improving quality, efficiency, access and equity in the delivery of cardiac services in the Canadian province of Ontario." Physicians will find information on cardiac centres, hospital waiting times for cardiac surgery and the cath-referral form amongst other information. A patient information booklet helps patients and their families understand the cardiac care system in Ontario.

College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
