Is Travel in Your Future?
• Back to main Immunization

Schedule an immunization appointment with the Health Unit at least 6 weeks before your departure. A nurse will be able to review what travel immunization that is required or recommended for your destination and will also review practices to keep you healthy while away.

While at you appointment, pick up new luggage tags. They are bright orange and will identify your luggage easily from a distance. The luggage tags are part of an information package on protecting yourself from Ultraviolet (UV) rays.

Tell us your plans for travel contest: Submit an entry either on line to take a survey or print off the PDF, then fax or drop the entry to the Health Unit. Entries due by April 30, 2009. Gift prize awarded on May 15, 2009.
