Almonte and Lanark County Office Location Update
The Board of Health at its September meeting decided upon the following 6 criteria to guide their decisions regarding the location of Health Unit offices in Lanark County.
  • Start up costs of land/building/design
  • Ongoing costs of operating the facility
  • Efficiency of client service delivery
  • Health and safety for clients and the staff
  • Greater accessibility for clients and partners
  • Increased room for growth and expansion

Heath unit staff is currently collecting data to assist the Board in the decision-making process.

The Board of Health will review this issue and the data collected at its November meeting. Any further community consultation will occur following the November meeting, including the planned second community consultation in Almonte.
