These are all questions that you will need to discuss before the arrival of your baby. Depending on the situation, involving your parents/guardians, your partner, and his parents in the decision-making is a good idea.

During pregnancy it is important for you to eat right. And sometimes eating the 'right' foods seems like it costs a lot of money. You can visit your local food shelter for you and your baby. For more information: Emergency Food Programs
Good Food for a Healthy Baby is a Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program (CPNP), funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada, and run by Connections . The groups operate with the assistance of several community partners , including the PHN’s from the Lanark, Leeds & Grenville Public Health Unit as well as Nutritionists from local Community Health Centres.

Where Can I Get Money?
Ontario Works provides financial and employment aid to people in temporary need of help. Ontario Works participants are involved in a wide range of employment activities to help them find and keep a job. LEAP (Learning Earning and Parenting), a program of Ontario Works, helps young people living on assistance to finish high school, learn good parenting techniques and get help in finding a job.
