A Message from our Medical Officer of Health - Dr. Paula Stewart.
Welcome to the Health Professionals section of the Leeds, Grenville & Lanark District Health Unit Website. We consider health professionals to be essential partners in our efforts to meet the Health Unit vision of healthy people in healthy communities. Our mission is to work with the community to enhance, promote and protect health. We cannot do this without the partnership of the health professionals in our community.
As your new Medical Officer of Health, I am excited to work with you and build partnerships. One of the ways we can foster these partnership is to provide information to health professionals through this website. This section of the website is for you. It must meet your needs if our partnership is to flourish. Please use it. If you find that it does not meet your needs, please let us know. We will make every effort to adjust it to meet your needs.
The website is a fluid enterprise, changing constantly to respond to new developments. To get the greatest benefit, you should check it often.
