This past spring the Health Unit’s Infectious Disease and Outbreak
Control Team held two very successful educational workshops for licensed
day care operators.
The workshops covered hygiene in the day care setting, sanitation,
childhood communicable diseases and food safety. Participants received
valuable information that will help to make sure that their facility’s
policies and procedures meet Health Unit standards.
The workshop will be offered again in 2006. Watch our website for
