Health Unit is Awarded a 4 Year Accreditation

Congratulations to the staff and Board of Health members of the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit for the tremendous success of our accreditation survey: four year award! This is our fourth accreditation award from the Ontario Council on Community Health Accreditation, and the third time that we have received the maximum four-year award. The Health Unit Accreditation Task Force members are to be commended for their leadership, and the general staff and management for their support throughout the entire preparation process. In addition to the quality of the accreditation preparations, this award is a reflection on the quality of our health unit. We have our challenges, we rise to them, and we strive to provide excellent service for our communities. 

The citizens of Leeds, Grenville and Lanark deserve excellent public health services, which we continue to strive to provide.
