Groundwater resources being studied Board announces five new municipal appointee Tri-Health Grocery Store Program “Walking Clinic”  Health Hazard Alert Flu Campaign 2000	Tri-Health Grocery Store Program submitted by Tania Zanelli, Tri Health Coordinator During the fall, the Tri Health Grocery Store Task Force held special promotional campaigns in local grocery stores in Perth and Carleton Place. Morning shoppers were treated to samples of Mushroom Lentil Pate prepared by Tri Health Grocery Store Task Force member Astrid Strader.  While customers were sampling, Astrid took the opportunity to speak about nutrition and healthy food choices to shoppers. Fact sheets, recipe cards and Tri Health promotional materials were distributed. In order to heighten interest, two Kemptville College students, disguised as a pumpkin and a snow pea, also circulated the store and handed out information.  Both events were a great success reaching over 300 Tri-County residents!
