Learning
from SARS - Renewal of Public Health in Canada
The
National Advisory Committee on SARS and Public Health (chaired by Dr. David Naylor)
was established in May 2003 and asked to provide a "third party assessment of
current public health efforts and lessons learned for ongoing and future infectious
disease control". This is the report.

Report of the Ontario Expert Panel on SARS and Infectious Disease Control is
now available on the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care website. This Report
constitutes the first phase of the Panel's work; it focuses on the systemic and
policy challenges raised by SARS and prioritizes the areas that require short-,
medium- and long-term actions. This is the report. |
